What makes me different?
Passion for languages
I have always had a great passion for languages since I was a child. I started learning English at the age of 8. At 19, I started learning Japanese and at 30, Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese.
Professional career
I grew up and trained as a language teacher at a time of profound changes in the field of teaching.
The old methodologies were slowly giving way to more pragmatic and effective teaching systems such as those offered by the University of Cambridge, from which I obtained the CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults).
On my study and work trips to Ireland, Belgium, England, Japan and Spain, I experienced the need to communicate effectively with locals and foreigners who, like me, were in the country.
Then, my work experiences in very different cultural contexts gave me the tools to have a more global vision on how to make my service to others effective and useful.
Vocation for teaching for more than twenty years
Finally, I feel that I am an open-minded person. In my lessons I use everything I can to help my students talk: technology, art, film, music and any other discipline and form of expression.
